Why use this controller?
Your Abarth uses 'fly by wire' throttle technology. This system relies on a sensor that measures the pedal pressure and position and sends a signal to the ECU which converts to acceleration. In the Abarth fly by wire system there is a noticeable delay. iDRIVE allows you to tune the signal from the accelerator pedal with multiple inbuilt settings to ensure you find a setting that suits your driving style be it town or track use.
What makes our iDrive different?
Through feedback we now have two sports modes each with 9 adjustable settings. Sport one is for normal everyday use. Sport 2 is for that added response and spirited driving. Eco mode is still present for round the town driving and a more economical drive.
Testing & Development
We have worked with the manufacturer using our own car for R&D to provide them with all the information they required to produce this for the Abarth. Having tested it we are only full of praise for its effectiveness. Imagine having a second adjustable "sports" button .....thats what iDrive feels like and when you do hit the "sports" button it feels twice as impressive!! You won't be disappointed.
Fitting
The iDrive can be fitted in less than 20 minutes with its simple "plug & play" system.
